Wine cellar

This farm on the hillsides closest to Rimini and just a few kilometres from the Adriatic sea, began as a wine cellar in 1700 next to the walls of the San Savino Castle (1141). 

Since then it has always maintained the same aims and always looking to better the appreciated wines produced almong which Sangiovese di Romagna DOC Superiore Felliniano, Trebbiano DOC and Pagadebit DOC, Rosati and Acquavite di Sangiovese. In parallel to the high quality wine production, the Fattoria del Piccione now offers a charming and fervent holiday farm activity which is managed with knowledgeable dedication by the women of the family. 

Among the most interesting proposals we can quote the spelt and vegetable entrées, the home made pasta, the rabbit in juniper sauce, the guinea fowl in thyme sauce, chicken in celery sauce and the cold meats and cheeses, all of very high quality. All dishes are prepared according to a rigorous respect of the times and seasons which propose their natural products.
